Terry Bloss and David Aguirre – who also goes by David Christian – played the fourth set when the third songwriter was unavailable. Terry’s niece is on the autism spectrum. Terry has also been fireman (for many years) and youth minister – among other things. His songs are snapshots of life and expressions of faith. One of my favorite songs of Terry’s is I’m Being Terrorized (By the Alphabet). You can hear his songs on Soundcloud. He also wrote a check for a nice donation to the Autism Treatment Center.
David Aguirre was diagnosed with autism at 19 years old. He is “high functioning,” living by himself and being engaged. He doesn’t write his own songs, but he can play many of the songs we hear on the radio. He and Terry swapped songs for four songs each.
Keep writing the songs that are in your heart.
Peace be with you.
